Bhagyashree, born Bhagyashree Patwardhan is an Indian film and television actress. Bhagyashree hails from the family of Patwardhans from Sangli city in Maharashtra. Her father is Maharaja of Sangli. Her full name is Shrimant Rajkumari Bhagyashree Raje Patwardhan. She is the daughter of H.H. Meherban Shrimant Raja Vijaysinhrao Madhavrao Patwardhan. She is the eldest of three daughters, the other two being Madhuvanti and Purnima. She married her childhood friend Himalay Dassani.

She is best known for her role in the 1989 film Maine Pyaar Kiya with Salman Khan. After a gap of several years, she made a comeback to television with Aandhi Jasbaton Ki, where she played a politician. She was also seen in Didi Ka Dulha, a comedy serial on national broadcaster Doordarshan and a telefilm where she plays a blind person.

She made her debut in Marathi films with the romantic comedy Zhak Marli Baiko Keli in June 2009. She is the promoter of a media company Shrishti Entertainment with her husband.

Barkha Bisht Sengupta is an Indian television actress. She is currently playing Anupama and Tia in Doli Saja Ke on Sahara One and Dhani/Devi Bhairavi in Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai on Star Plus. She is married to co-star Indraneil Sengupta in real life.

She started her career on television with a show called Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi aired on MTV India, followed by a show called Pyaar ke Do Naam - Ek Radhaa Ek Shyaam where she played the lead role of Shyama, Radha and Radhika opposite Indraneil Sengupta.

She has also hosted a film-news based programme called Popkorn on Zoom TV and has played the lead role of Anupama in Doli Saja Ke on Sahara One channel. She has also done cameo roles on the shows Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa and Kavyanjali. She also participated in a show called Saas vs Bahu on Sahara One which was a dance show where saas' (on-screen mothers-in-law) competed with bahus (on-screen daughters-in-law). Her current role involves essaying the central character Dhani from Sajan Ghar Jana Hai, where she replaced Neha Saxena. she has done an item number in prakash jha's movie Rajneeti.

She got roles with substance in films like Meera Ka Mohan & Sainik,but these films could not help her career.She was signed opposite Anil Kapoor in Yash Chopra's Parampara,but anil walked out of the film and Vinod Khanna was signed,bhave too decided to walk out as she felt her pairing with khanna is not suitable,but chopra convinced her to do the film.She later did few films with Mithun.

She got critical acclaim for 1996's Bhairvi,but was upset when she did not get any nomination for it at award functions. She is married to Maharashtrian software engineer Kishore Bopardikar. They are settled in San Francisco in the United States. She has two children who are currently undergoing primary education. She plays a major role in the NRI community in the Bay Area.
